Terms & Conditions of Business

1. Scope of Work
All plating work is carried out strictly as described in the quotation. Any variations or additional work must be agreed in writing.

2. Condition of Customer-Supplied Items
All items must be supplied in bright, clean, bare metal (unlacquered) condition. We accept no responsibility for adhesion failures, imperfections, or reduced plating performance resulting from pre-existing coatings, surface defects, contamination, or unsuitable base materials. The customer is responsible for ensuring that items are suitable for plating.

3. Workmanship Warranty
We stand by the quality of the plating performed. Any defect due to workmanship must be reported in writing within 45 days of the invoice date. We will, at our discretion, repair, re-plate, or refund the defective work. No liability is accepted for defects reported after this period.

4. Durability and Performance Disclaimer
The longevity and performance of plated finishes depend on handling, use, and environmental conditions after leaving our care. We cannot accept responsibility for deterioration or failure arising from factors outside our control. No warranty, express or implied, is given as to fitness for a particular purpose or the durability of the plated finish.

5. Limit of Liability
Our liability for any loss or damage, howsoever arising, is strictly limited to the value of the plating work carried out under the relevant quotation or order. We accept no liability for consequential loss, loss of profit, or claims arising from the use of plated items in service.

6. Risk Transfer
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon collection or dispatch. We accept no responsibility for damage or deterioration occurring after this point.

7. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order, the customer is deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions.

8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
